Sam and Desi left Fort Lewis, Washington (near Tacoma) yesterday, across the Interstate 90 mountain pass into Spokane, WA. They travel today to Bozeman, Montana. It is currently in the 30's and partly sunny for the entire trip today. 293 miles completed. 399 miles scheduled for today. Only 2005 miles remaining to Covington, Georgia (just outside of Atlanta), where we join up with them Sunday evening, at my brother Rick and wife Susan's home. After that, it's only another 264 miles to their final destination, Enterprise, Alabama. Then the unpacking can begin.
After some snow clearing, we pack up today and leave in the morning, Friday. We are currently surrounded by large snowstorms and rain. Hope to slip out of the bad weather about Friday afternoon.
